 Upcoming Tryouts, March 2018:

Cheer tryouts will take place March 23rd with mandatory clinics on March 20th and 21st. Each clinic day is 4:00-5:30 pm, with tryout day going from 4:00 until finished.  Eighth grade girls will need to meet in the S9GS gymnasium (enter through the set of glass doors that are in between the cafeteria and gym).

Each day, you must wear a white tshirt (preferably plain with no graphics), black shorts, and cheer shoes (or tennis shoes if you don't have cheer shoes).  Please wear a high ponytail (if hair is long enough) and a white bow, if you have one.

Make sure to download and complete a tryout packet (see link) and get teacher recommendation forms filled out by four teachers (see link). Recommendation forms must come from the teachers, not put in with your packet and are strictly confidential.  The day of the first clinic, you must bring your completed packet, physical form (must not expire before March 23rd, so last year's may work), a copy of your birth certificate, and a copy of your most recent report card in order to participate in the clinic times and tryout.

Those not present at the clinic days will not be permitted to try out.  Clinics/tryout are closed, so please do not bring friends or family.

Practice Schedule for the Summer, 2018:

For those who make the squad, we will begin practices in April.  Tuesdays will be 4:00-5:30 in the S9 gym.  Thursdays will be 4:00-5:00 at Ace. Once school gets out, we will take a break for the last week of May and then practice in the month of June, every Tuesday (2:00-4:00 pm), and Thursday at Ace, 4:00-5:00.  Camp will be June 21st-23rd.  For the month of July, Ace practices will continue for girls that are in town.  Please plan family vacations for either the last week of May or in the month of July. No other absences will be excused.
